Is this for me?
If you’re asking, the answer is probably yes! We work with people of all abilities and fitness levels.

Note: You do not need to identify as having a disability to train with us.
How much does it cost?
We offer several packages depending on your needs - 1:1 sessions, community classes, monthly memberships, drop-ins, remote coaching etc. We’ll walk you through the options during your first visit.
We offer a limited number of scholarships for athletes who want to train but can’t afford the fees.
Will insurance cover my sessions?
We do not bill insurance. We accept payment via cash, credit card, check, PayPal, and Venmo.
With proper documentation, your training fees may be covered in part through your HSA/FSA benefit.
Inquire about an invoice for services and we'll provide you with the information you need.
What conditions do you work with?
You name it, we train it!
We have experience serving individuals with a wide range of neurological and physical conditions including (but not limited to) stroke, brain injury, MS, Parkinson’s, FND, spinal cord injury, and more.

What is the gym space like?
Our gym is located at 317 Belgrade Avenue Roslindale, MA. It is open, welcoming, accessible, and designed to accommodate a wide range of mobility and sensory needs.
There are two accessible parking spots nearby. And free street parking.
We have two separate gym spaces allowing for private sessions and group classes to occur simultaneously.

Can family members or care partners attend sessions?
Family and care partners are welcome!
When appropriate, we can incorporate caregivers or family members into training or create custom exercise resources to use at home. Sometimes we collaborate directly with extended support teams.
How do I get started?
Fill out this form and we’ll contact you within 24 hours to walk you through the process. We'll answer any questions and help schedule your first visit.
You'll sign a waiver, answer some questions, and create an account in our booking system (Jane).
This intro session is free. We'll design a training approach and frequency that fits.
How can I support Fit to Function?

The Fitness Fund provides financial support for individuals with neurological conditions who can’t afford ongoing sessions. Recovery is expensive, and our donors have sponsored 30+ athletes so far. Donate directly or via Venmo at @Fit-to-Function. Every dollar goes toward an athlete’s journey.

Can I train with one specific coach?
You should expect to mix it up, depending on scheduling.
We cannot guarantee availability of a specific trainer - we’ll work together to find the perfect match for you!
All of our trainers are Adaptive and Inclusive certified. Everyone at Fit to Function has also been trained in neuroadaptive approaches directly by the founder.
How do I book sessions?
Once you're onboarded, you'll have access to our scheduling system (Jane) where you can book, pay for class packs, cancel, or reschedule sessions directly. We’ll walk you through how this works.
Note: You will need to create a password and add a payment method via Jane.
Do you offer virtual sessions?
Yes. We provide remote coaching, programming, and virtual training for clients anywhere in the world.
Are you hiring?
Can I do 1:1 training and group classes?
Many people do both. We encourage folks to try out a mix of offerings to see what fits best.
